Hi, my name is Annie and I am new to this board. I just wanted to say thanks to all the FDNY that I met in NYC a few weeks ago. I stopped by a few houses to get t-shirts and patches and everyone that I met was just very friendly. Who ever said that people from NYC are rude (which isn't true!!!) has never met the FDNY!!!

The most touching thing to me was seeing all the memorials to those that were lost on 9/11. I found those more moving than going to Ground Zero. I kinda got mad at Ground Zero watching people posing for pictures in front of it. Just thought it was really disrepectful of them.
